The Visayas region has become a new horizon for Enderun Hospitality Management (EHM), now that the hotel management division of Enderun Colleges has taken on the management and operations of luxury resort, Donatela Hotel, in the fourth quarter of 2017.

Donatela Hotel, formerly known as Tarsier Botanika, is a botanical sanctuary located on the southwestern portion of Bohol, along the shores of Panglao Island. The resort takes pride in its respect for nature’s beauty, carefully maintaining its facilities in harmony with the environment. Specialized guest villas afford guests every comfort, with a range of wellness, dining, exploration, and leisure activities available as well. As a resort, an event venue, and a nature reserve, Donatela Hotel is a superlative tourist destination with potential that EHM plans to explore.
“Not a lot of people know of the resort outside Bohol or Cebu,” explains Herve Martin, Donatela Hotel’s resident manager. “We intend to reintroduce Donatela Hotel to the public, so that more people will get to enjoy what we offer: luxury in nature.” Alongside this commitment to revitalize and expand Donatela Hotel’s presence for a broader market, Martin also asserts that EHM’s management of the resort will not change its distinct identity, nor compromise its standards of culinary quality and natural comfort.

Moving forward, EHM intends to develop the resort further, scaling it up in a sustainable and ecologically safe fashion while enhancing its personnel with career opportunities and training at Enderun Colleges. From the resort’s 12 original specialty villas, projections are being made to expand to as many as 80, with commensurate development as well in the resort’s restaurants, bar, and boutique shop in Alona.
